"You think that hurt..." he stopped with a cry. Bluecourage nailed him hard.
Chickenscratch stopped, feeling the battle surge around him to see his mate, his best friend lying on the ground, unconcious. "No!'' he cried. He ran to her side, to see Tiger holding her down. "You," he growled. Without another word, he leaped at Tiger.
Tiger felt the cat's claws down his side and knew it was over. All he lived for gone. Taken away like the sun on a cloudy day. He felt the sun die, the clouds disperse to see a radiant light shining around him. His spirit was carried up to the clouds, the spirits of their ancestors waiting. His body lay limp in front of Chickenscratch.

Sparkpaw stirred and limped over to Sparrowfeather and Chickenscratch. This was pure evil, all the bloos spilled, all the fighting. Nothing but a sin upon all of them which could be regretted in the future. They could be fighting togther against the dogs instead of against eachother and the dogs added in. But they werent. How many more would die before this battle was fought? The possibilities were endless. He guessed almost half of them would pass on by the looks of things, who would survive? He knew Sparrowfeather shouldnt have come.
Sparrowfeather remained motionless, in her mind she relived her past. All the horrors and fear. Every pain and suffering. Everything relived. yet all the happy parts seemed to skip like a broken record player. The only thing she seemed to relive was all torture and sadness. her thoughts smeemed to be only of despair. And all the light was gone, sucked away for what seemed an eternity. But she heard the cry 'No!' and a weight lifted. She opened her eyes and looked at Chickenscratch for a brief moment before passing out again. True she probably shouldnt have come but she always had been more or less persistent, and stubborn at times.
Eveningstar threw Silhouette one more glance before leaving the carcass. She deserved nothing but what she got. Their sibling bond had been broken. Guess there were some things time couldnt erase. This was one of them, sure they would meet again, in StarClan and maybe on a better note, maybe they would be reunited again. As well as reunited with Everfoot as well. |

Chickenscratch ran to his son. "Oh Sparkpaw, she'll be okay," he murmured, licking his son on the head.
"Dad, Sparkpaw, MOM!" cried Coalpaw. He ran to his mother's side, licking her as if to try to wake her up. "Momma!" he cried.
Oh why is life so unfair? Take away everything loved by one to replace with agony, pain, and sorrow? Why must it be this way? Chickenscratch thought of his happy times with his mate. The love, the kits, the friendship. Why was that taken away? Like a worm taken from the ground to be eaten by a bird.(SPARRY!!!! No, wait... you aren't on here no more... oh well1!!) Why? Why is life so cruel?

They say love can overcome anything, this was probably true. To hear the ones yoou love is enough to make anyone wake up. Sparrowfeather suddenly struggled upwards to her feet and looked from Sparkpaw, Coalpaw to Chickenscratch. It would definitly take more then that to get rid of her. No one said life is fair, without down moments life would be boring. Its what makes us stronger. To givup is like throwing your life away. She didnt, not even when lifes most cruel moments hit her. Loosing all blood relation was hard enough. But she got through that. Now Coalpaw, Sparkpaw and Chickenscratch where her joy.
Sparkpaw jumped slightly when Sparrowfeather got up. She was alive! And thats what mattered. Not who did it, not why it happened, but that she was alive. He became aware of the battle raging on around them, must look odd to see them just standing there with no real purpose. And to think, they could be helping. But why? Why when no one else seemed to want to help them, so was there really a purpose to helping everyone else? Probably just because it was the 'right thing to do'.
Sorrowpaw looked at Schorchedleaf for a moment in a dazed state of mind before realizing something...he didnt reply to her. She faltered but took off again into the mass of battling cats. Obviously she wasnt needed there, so she wouldnt linger. |

Coalpaw shrieked and covered his mother's face in licks. "We should fight," he mewed after a moment.
The joy to see your mate stand up after almost dying was like watching the sun set for the last time but realizing you will watch many more. "Oh Sparrowfeather," he ran over to her and helped her. "Are you okay to fight?" he asked. Anxiety. It's a pain but also a joy. Nothing can stop it but many things can start it. Oh how life was scary. One moment you coould die, the next you are staring at your childhood again. Life is so tipsy turvy.

Leafpool looked at Scorchedleaf. "No, your hurt!" She yowled at him. Leafpool jumped onto Bracken, she knew how to fight, Scorchedleaf was in no condition in battling yet. "run!" She yowled at him.

Redfang leaped at Dagger. She wasn't going to give up! She also wasn't ready to join her brother in StarClan. She bit, once again, into Dagger's neck.

MirageHeart stard at the motionless Arrow she and Danceingfoot had just killd Arrow. She was not used to working with another cat from a diferent clan. "What hapend?" she asked herself, she could be such a loyalness freek anyet she had just fought with an other cat from a diferent clan. She looked up it was so frightning ther was so much blood and dead bodies from doges and cats! she looked at the dogs she remeberd there sent from when she was a kit since she had bin abandond she had lernd to avoid them but now she couldn't she just couldn't every thing had changed all the clans had goten together to get rid of the dogs. She shouk her head to clear her mind but now all that was going thru her head was now after this the clans would be enamies agen!
Diablo ran over "MirageHeart!"
"Diablo! i thought i'd never be happy to see you!"
"wheres Darkstar" he asked (he sound woried)
"wiat.... what are you... are you achually worried about her?"
"yes..... i mean NO...Never!.. well she is my twin isn't she!"
"yes....."
"than! well we might not like each other but we........."
"yes?"
"ummmm......well how should you know you don't have any family!" and with that he ran of in search for his sister
MirageHeart stood there she couldn't beleve it after all these years it finally hit her shes a loner at HEART

Darkstar saw Diablo. "What do you want?" she growled.
Spectrestar dragged herself across the ground, wishing it was all over. She had one life and was horribly hurt. "Good-bye," she rasped. Then, she fell into a deep slumber, never to be waken again.
((Of Course))
Dagger felt his body limply hang from the cat. "You... will...pay," he rasped. He shuddered once. It was all still. Everything gone. Freeing the pack was in the past. Nothing was there for him. He only hoped his family would be waiting. His eyes closed and he fell from Redfang's mouth, lying in a heap of dust and body. He was dead.

Demon ran over " Darkstar and Diablo talking.....together?" hesaid playfully
"SHUT-UP DEMON!"
Stone left Arrows side and whant to find Dagger when he found him he howld "DAGGER'S DAED!!!!"

Redfang felt Dagger die in her jaws. She let go of his neck as soon as she was sure he was dead. She looked at his dead body. She wondered what the pack would do now that their leader was dead.

Many dogs stopped and stared at their leader. Then, they shook off the cats that clung on them and ran away.
Darkstar looked at diablo and meowed, "The fight is over."

Shadoweyes ran over to Mirage."Are you okay?"
Scorchedleaf did not respond. All he said was,"Sorrowpaw..." Then he launched himself upon Bracken knowing it was a hopeless fight.
Cinder watched the dogs flee. Oh how it was like a flock of birds taking flight. They were cowards, without their leader. All of them. She watched as Ribbon left, cleaning herself. How pathetic. Then her gaze settled upon Bracken and the two brave warriors. She then realized that Bracken was winning. She had pinned down the hurt cat and was going for the kill. Cinder could not let this happen. She ran with all her might and launched herself on Bracken.
Scorchedleaf saw the snapping jaws come close to his face. Then the weight was lifting. It was the healer!
"Run!" called Cinder as she pinned down Bracken.
"Wow."Said Bluecourage to Redfang.
