Darkstar jumped onto the Low Hanging Branch and gathered her clan by the summons. "Coalpaw and Sparkpaw, please step forth." She waited, then continued, "Coalpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do."
"Then, by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. From now on Coalpaw, your warrior name shall be Coalspice."

The ember hued apprentice stepped forth towards the Clan Leader. This was the day he would no longer be an apprentice but now a warrior. Sapphire gaze turned to Coalspice before looking towards Darkstar again. Sparkpaw nodded and spoke the words of I do as if he was so positive in this as in his own parents names. For now together he and Coalspice could spend the night in silence together. Two siblings. Once had they ever only really been separated and Coalpaw couldn’t say he had any memories of it. All he knew was that Silhouette, or rather Silhouettestar now had taken him and from there on apparently Chickenscratch, his own father had gone to get him. Would life really be any different now? Or was he to always feel like every day was the same. DeJa Vu anyone? Azure gaze held steadily on Darkstar and he felt as if the world had stopped around him for no rustle came from the leave scattered across the forest floor or from any remaining on branches by clinging for dear life. The world seemed to almost be on mute, or as if someone turned down all volume except for his own thoughts, breathing and heartbeat. He remembered seeings Sparrowfeather in the crowd, and glad to see his mother well again. But he had not spied Chickenscratch at all, and he had to wonder why at this. --- Sparrowfeather watched Coalpaw silently, she could remember her own warrior ceremony. Even then her parents and siblings were dead. Except Silentlark who had supposedly been dead but since she made a reappearance she had to think twice. Her body was said to be lost down stream. Amber orbs scanned the area, no sign of Chickenscratch, on his own accord though. To be out of apprenticeship was like a bird to be set from a cage. Now she wouldnt complain because her mentor had been fair, better then some in her own opinion and she did learn quite abit other then warrior skills. Her mentor had been like an adoptive mother. Sparrowfeathers own parents gave no care about her so it was almost a wonder, a miracle that she wasnt bitter like Silhouettestar. Nevertheless she hardly spoke to her family anyways, but they were all dead, murdered to say the least. Not that she could say she cared, in a harsh opinion they more or less deserved what they got and recieved it rightfully. Now truth be told yes they had followed the warrior code. But it was their all around attitude to make you wonder. So no Sparrowfeather never would wish death upon anyone, but to say they almost deserved it is a whole diffent story altogther. Maybe they didnt deserve it but you cant blame her for making an opinion of her own, now could you? She knew them better then anyone else.

Chickenscratch padded over to his mate, licking her in between the ears.
"Then, by the powers of Starclan, I give you your new name. From this day on, your name shall be Sparkprism." She rested her chin on his head.
